A 45-YEAR-OLD man was killed after allegedly being “bundled into a car and attacked” outside a Post Office with police arresting one man.
Cops began investigating an assault after the man was attacked on Ashton Road in Oldham, Manchester, back on September 10, 2023.

The victim, who has now named as Martin Shaw, was was reportedly bundled into a grey Audi.
He was then driven away and assaulted before being taken back home, said Greater Manchester Police.
But Shaw later attended Royal Oldham Hospital in a critical condition.
Tragically he died as a result of his injuries almost two months later, on November 4 2023.
A 36-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of murder two years after Shaw’s death.
The arrested man remains in custody and faced police questioning this morning.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: “We have arrested a man on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of Martin Shaw in Oldham in 2023 and he remains in custody for questioning.
“Martin was assaulted in September 2023 but sadly died in November that year.”
Cops launched a murder investigation after Shaw’s death was pronounced.
Shortly after the incident, in which Mr Shaw suffered “significant injuries” before being left at his home, a woman was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
She was later released.
