HORRIFYING footage shows the moment a reckless yob hurls a huge seat from the third floor of Westfield, nearly killing unaware shoppers below.
The disturbing video, taken on Saturday, shows passersby narrowly escaping being crushed as a youth is accused of “attempted murder” online.

The young man, wearing a grey jumper and black tracksuit bottoms, struggles to pick up a heavy blue 4ft-steat, before finally launching it over a glass barrier.
As he picks it up, the boy recording says: “There’s no way this guy’s doing it.
“Oh my god.”
The clip shows the massive projectile hurtling 120ft through the air, plunging past multiple escalators, before slamming into the floor.
The seat lands just inches from one shopper, while others turn around in shock as it smashes into the ground.
The culprits then turn and sprint off, shouting and laughing as they dart up an escalator.
As they reach the top, the young man turns round and says: “I can’t believe I did that.”
Two of the boys are clearly visible in the terrifying clip which was shared on Snapchat.
On the video is written: “No way bro almost killed someone. Nahhh.”
The caption is then followed by two laughing emojis.
A TikTok user who then uploaded the grim footage their account, also added the hashtags #mad and #stratford.
The clip quickly when viral on different social media sites, sparking fury.
The Metropolitan Police have been tagged in multiple videos.
One disgusted X user said: “Westfield London looks like a warzone most days from what I see online. Gang of yobs just running riot.
“Would never in a million years go there with my kids.”
Another accused the lad of attempted murder, saying: “If there was a mother and a pram with her baby underneath then no one survives that.
“It’s attempted murder and he should be found.”
More users agreed, saying: “I’m imagining this falling on an elderly person or a toddler. I’m imagining that would potentially kill someone.”
Another was shocked at the boys’ behaviour, saying: “They knew that would cause serious harm or death, and it didn’t even bother them.
“How can we live amongst such animals?”
Inspector Dan Window, from Stratford Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Police are investigating after a heavy seat was thrown over a barrier from the first floor of Westfield shopping centre in Stratford on Saturday, 1 March.
“The seating was reported to have narrowly missed members of the public below, fortunately there were no injuries.
“The matter was reported to police on Monday, 3 March and enquires continue.”
